It was now December and it was becoming the time for Christmas parties and celebration. It was right after midterms and I was ready to celebrate. I decided to attend a fraternity "white" party. This particular time of losing my phone marked the beginning of my Mother's disappointment. But this time it was not only my phone...but my entire purse. I set my purse down for a total of five minutes to dance with my friends, and I had looked down and my purse was no where to be seen. I waited until the party was shut down and decided to crawl on the floor and search for it. It was definitely stolen. The hysterical tears began streaming down my face because I knew that this time I would not be getting off easy. I called my Mother from my roommate's phone...(by this time she knew by receiving a call from me from her number meant only one thing, yep her daughter was phone-less yet again). Anyways, almost 200 dollars later I had a new phone yet again and all my items in my purse replaced.

I'm not sure what girls fascination with going to a public place such as a bar or party with a 100+ dollar bag filled with an iphone, cameras, or blackberry, and leaving them unattended.
